Electrical Laminated Wood is a high-strength insulating composite manufactured from selected birch, stained wood, and ash veneers impregnated with specialized insulating resin and hot-pressed under controlled temperature and pressure to achieve uniform density and dimensional stability. It provides excellent mechanical strength, good electrical insulation performance, and high compatibility with transformer oil, enabling reliable long-term operation in oil-immersed environments up to 105℃.
With lower weight and cost compared to steel and other laminate materials, Electrical Laminated Wood is widely used in power and instrument transformers for pressure plates, spacer blocks, support elements, and clamping components, and serves as an effective replacement for steel plates, insulating paper laminates, epoxy paper boards, and woven glass fabric laminates.
