Processing Instructions
When turning or milling, remove the thermally aged surface layer by 0.5–1 mm in general.
Tungsten carbide cutters for aluminum alloys are recommended for milling operations.
For drilling, adopt the procedure of pilot small hole followed by reaming; avoid direct drilling with large-diameter bits.
Supply sufficient cutting fluid during machining to prevent material burning and tool adhesion.
Water-soluble cutting fluid is preferred.
Storage Guidelines
Store away from direct sunlight, moisture and oil contaminants.
Wrap unused PEEK products with protective film for preservation.
